finally, a treatment for that buzzing in your ears - one way car alarm
Imagine the harsh hum in your ears.
Or keep beeping, whistling, ticking or clicking.
Imagine that there are crickets or birds in your mind all day long.
Then realize there are no real birds and crickets.
No water on the faucet
There is no clicking or whistling nearby.
This is a small glimpse into the life of tinnitus: the sound perception made by the brain, which does not exist.
Ginny Morrell, 60, said: "I hear tree frogs, crickets and bugs, and there is a lot of noise . " She has had tinnitus for two years.
"One day it started and never left.
It never wavered 24 hours a day.
Morrell said her life was full of voices.
There is a radio during the day, and the TV plays in the background while she sleeps --
As a way to drown the noise.
This can sometimes be distracting.
"It won't kill me, it's not cancer," Morrell said . ".
"But it might drive me crazy.
"But according to a new study, the most effective treatment for Morel tinnitus may be the opposite of what she is currently doing: focus on it instead of ignoring the sound.
"In this study, what do we think if we try to intervene in this avoidance behavior and expose patients to the sound of tinnitus," said RilanaCima ? ", The lead author and clinical psychologist of the study was a pioneer in rehabilitation and audiology in the Netherlands.
"If you expose people to what they're afraid of, they're actually used to the thrill.
"Cima compared this approach, which stems from cognitive behavior therapy, with helping patients with spider phobia to slowly curb this fear.
Intermittent exposure to spiders
Or in the case of tinnitus, that annoying buzz
It may ease the fear associated with it.
The study, conducted in the Netherlands, involved 492 patients.
Half accepted the work of Audiology.
The other half received comprehensive care, including tinnitus-
Cognitive behavior therapy.
This treatment involves having the patient perform routine tasks that are mundane, while touching any sound associated with tinnitus.
"People usually avoid their own voices," Cima said . ".
"So they practice paying attention to their voices and the reactions that come out of it.
"About 70% of people in the treated population reported improvements in their quality of life, or a decrease in tinnitus a year after starting treatment.
It is important that for a disease that originated in the brain, many patients also report an improvement in tinnitus
Fear and anxiety.
"The sound is not gone, but the fear response is gone," Cima said . ".
The reason why tinnitus is so difficult to treat is that it is almost impossible to determine the source of sound (
Neural sources not determined by this condition)
The experience of each patient is unique.
This makes it difficult to design a treatment for everyone.
The study, published today in The Lancet, is one of The first trials to show relief in about 50 million tinnitus patients in The United States. S.
According to the American Tinnitus Association.
Richard salvey, a tinnitus expert at the University of Buffalo hearing and Deafness Center, said the study is important and should be encouraging for people like Morrell.
But most tinnitus patients are looking for treatment, he added.
"Many tinnitus patients want the tinnitus to stop completely immediately," Salvi said in an email to CNN . ".
"None of the current treatments meet the expectations of these patients.
So more work needs to be done.
"Morrell was heartened by the possibility of treatment, but, from where she sat in the small --
It seems elusive in the town of Brockton, Massachusetts.
She says doctors in her area rarely understand her condition, let alone how to use cognitive behavioral therapy for treatment.
"I have a doctor who said to me that I should take cronoping (an anti-seizure/anti-
Anxiety drugs)
My tinnitus, "said Morrell.
"He said take one on the first day and two on the second day, up to 12 per day if I need.
Can you believe it?
"Morrell is almost as much of a fear as she is --
It will get worse.
What she wanted most, she said, was simple things she took for granted in the past: "My problem is not to hear silence . ".
"I can't hear silence anymore.
"What Morrell craves is a reset button that will make the noise go away.
Treating tinnitus is never that simple.
I have had tinnitis since I was 17 and was actually diagnosed with tinnitis when I was 21.
Since I have had almost such an experience in my life, I learned to adapt to it and avoid making it worse.
Caffeine, stress, noise, fatigue can all make noise bigger.
So try to avoid these things as much as you can.
If you like a concert, plug your ears when you go.
Don't turn up the volume if you have to wear headphones/earplugs.
Over time, things get worse if you're not careful.
And, since I 've been eating it for 43 years, I can safely say that my voice is only a little bit bigger, most of which I haven't noticed it at all.
Please make sure you practice "safe" if there is nothing else"
Because what this article does not tell you is that tinnitis patients are at risk of hearing loss.
We don't even want that.
Hope this helps.
Yes, that's what I am. . .
I almost lost my hearing.
Fortunately, the tinnitus is still alive, so I can at least enjoy the wind in the forest superimposed with crickets. . .
A good bottle of rum!
Tanqueray works better for me.
I always think tinnitus is an ear problem. ? ).
I'm trying to get someone to hear me on WebMD.
They can hear the treble, but I can't tell the difference between the 24/7/365 I hear and the sound they hear, even if I turn the volume up.
I had a serious car accident until January, and my car was intermittent.
It's annoying to hear all the time.
Work all day, music, TV at home.
I was 84 and started tinnitus at 14 when the bomb exploded too close and I also had Meniere because I had a balance problem.
I have a stroker that affects my ability to resume walking.
I have heard cigales singing all the time.
I have been used to it by now and have not paid attention to it.
I have never been silent. I heard the cricket. Constantly.
I found it helpful to sit by the stream every day and listen to the water for a few minutes.
I also heard the cries of crickets, and I was lying in bed about 20 years ago and couldn't find a chirping cricket.
I called my daughter into the room and she heard nothing.
I asked her to lie in bed with me and she still couldn't hear it, just at that moment I realized that cricket would get bigger if I put my fingers in my ears.
Since then, my chatterfriend has been with me all the time and I have learned to embrace the sound.
I can't even imagine silence.
Another garbage experiment by the doctor was carried out as a "treatment.
Focus on sound to eliminate sound?
What treatment is this?
I can come up with 10 treatments for Voodoo psuedo BS like this.
Some doctors will do anything in order to make more money.
Please do not write such an article to bring hope to tinnitus patients.
We all give up hope that tinnitus will be cured in our lifetime.
We talked a lot about how much science has developed, but once we get through the mechanical part of the ear, once we hit the nerves, it's all an engima.
The problem is that it is not a real voice.
Your brain made a mistake.
Focusing on it can help the brain find out the mistakes.
You shouldn't be so negative, Lenny, and think of noise as a friendly partner.
A positive attitude will improve the quality of your life.
I hope you can solve this problem. @ Well.
Thank you for letting me know there is no sound.
There is something called sound perception.
The problem is cochlear nerve damage caused by multiple reasons.
The nerve sends a sound signal to the brain.
Where do you want me to focus on?
My nerves or my voice?
How the hell did you do it?
What will this achieve?
If the wound causes your perception of brain pain, can you cover up the pain by focusing on your brain? or the wound?
Anyone who can say it is a pure lie.
This kind of dedicated thing is no different from the religious madman finding "God" in meditation.
I believe in BS.
I like it when people say it's not the real sound.
True to me!
Your thoughts are so closed, Lenny. I'm a Ph. D.
Scientists who study for a living, I am as good at analysis as they are.
The technology outlined in this article helps people to be more comfortable with their own tinnitis, but it doesn't eliminate sound.
If your tinnitis bothers you, you have two options :(1)
Eliminate sound (
Impossible Now)or (2)
Make yourself more comfortable.
Open your mind, read the scientific literature, and realize that there are ways to help you accept the problem, which will reduce the level of pain you have associated with the problem.
Some progress is better than no progress.
Everyone with a political mind thinks this is true.
I also hissed a lot.
When I stopped going to the masseur to adjust my neck about 1/2 years ago, my child started.
My masseur told me that the whiplash often leads to tinnitis, and for me, just hanging my head in a different way can change the intensity, greatly reducing the hissing until I am againSo. . . .
I recently returned to the masseur to make adjustments.
I hope there will be at least some improvement.
Forget the book.
They are just countries and (
For some stupid reason)
Snake oil approved by insurance company
They're BS in total.
See Real doctors with real medical degrees.
Griffin: FYI, chiropractor is not a joint expert because they like to be mistaken for an expert.
His statement may be a coincidence because there are some quirks in your neck that affect the nervous or circulatory system.
However, chiropractors are definitely not qualified to deal with problems with the nervous or circulatory system, and if you have real problems in one of the areas, you risk getting yourself on a chiropractic basis to make the situation worse. @docame-
My doctor couldn't find what made me feel like I was connected by an electric shock machine after waking up from surgery a few years ago.
Test after test. Nothing.
They tried to blame this on my nerves.
This problem also made my tinnitus and dizziness more serious.
It was my masseur who solved the problem and found that the spine on my neck distorted my cranial nerves and brought me back to life.
Not my primary care doctor.
Your post is ignorant. Well. .
He is a quick comparison between "regular" doctors and chiropractors.
My back was sore a few years ago;
The general doctor advised me to take motlin and would prescribe me if I wanted.
The masseur immediately gave me a deep tissue massage to immediately relieve and adjust my spine.
As I said, it's fast. .
Perhaps before telling others what they can and can't do, review the course of chiropractic first.
802 direct-my wife is almost paralyzed by a masseur.
He's been adjusting-the spine he's adjusting is actually squeezing the nerves (
Not shown on Xrays).
She followed my advice, went to the doctor and was treated.
But she's living a regular life now!
I'm late, but I'll give it a try if this reply helps others.
As I have recently noticed, when I turn my head to one side (
In the direction of the Ringing Ear)
The sound disappeared.
If I put my head in a normal position, it will come back.
For potential adjustments, I'm doing an appt with doc right away.
In the past 10 years or so, the sound of a car alarm has often sounded in my head.
I went to a few doctors.
Finally, the last one I went to told me that this was probably caused by my chemotherapy in 2000.
As a survivor, I can now cope with the constant noise as I know it's the price I pay to save my life.
Thank you for your opinion on it. @ A.
Happy life to you!
I am suffering from severe tinnitus, which is the result of ear hardening and only 40% of my hearing is left in both ears.
But you still have to make things clear.
Tinnitus is not a big problem after all?
I started calling a few years ago.
It's bad enough to keep me awake at night.
It sounds like a scream when you're trying to listen to AM radio.
My doctor did not answer me because he said treatment is very difficult and you can only eliminate possible causes such as tumors or diseases.
I feel very tired and tired.
I tried vitamins, gold, white noise, etc.
So I decided to try a product called Ring Stop.
It doesn't completely eliminate the ringtone, but it reduces a lot and I can ignore it.
It seems worse when I am allergic.
I also try to avoid loud music.
But, of course, now that I have read the article, I have heard it again.
I feel the same way.
Maybe it helps too.
I found it helpful to sleep with earplugs as my breathing sound is bigger than the bell.
For those who suffer this noise, I have also suffered this noise for the last 15 years.
I started using a program called EFT, Emotional Freedom technology to achieve the results.
As a layman, I am working on using different methods to treat tinnitus, such as statements around the beating drum membrane, Cochlear, ear, and various variants.
I was going through a level 7 rescue that started from 0-10, the first day of use lasted a whole day in the morning of the next day, how much it was, and then back to a 4.
I continue to tap with different phrases to make people aware of this.
Today is four days after my silence day, I am in 1!
Once I have experienced lasting results, I plan to create a marketable cd to help people.
Anyone who wants to learn more or get phone help and extra knowledge can call me at 408-888-9290.

Timi is 70 years old, and since I was in my 20 s, I have been hearing crickets.
I thought everyone had heard it over the years.
I don't think the noise is preventing me from enjoying my life.
This is just part of the life I learned to ignore a long time ago.
But it's been there all the time. So what? Life is good.
I don't know anything about the "fear" mentioned above.
I have no fear.
I just live my life in a big field that keeps chirping chir.
Thousands of peopleOh well.
It will definitely be worse.
I may live in the center of New York City. Ditto. . . . .
I have almost 45 years, too. . . .
It's just part of life and in most cases I either don't hear them or just ignore them.
Before my wife told me that she had heard nothing, I had always thought that crickets and locusts would go into town.
I 've been having tinnitus for 35 years and one thing I can guarantee to make it worse for the time being is to focus on it.
I was going through positive results when I wrote this.

Hold your breath. No joke.
Keep it long enough and the body starts to tell you to breathe again. Maybe 8-10 seconds.
Then take a breather and repeat.
I had tinnitus three times and lasted more than 30 minutes.
I took a large dose of magnesium and it disappeared in a few minutes.
Last time, I was on vacation and traveling by car when it started.
I took out my iphone, found a health food store nearby, bought a bottle of magnesium spray and stopped in less than three or four minutes.
I use supplements now, because I obviously have deficiencies in my case.
I hope this will help others.
Janna, this is stupid.
When you have never even been tested for plasma or tissue levels, you should never take supplements in large doses.
Magnesium has multiple effects on the body, including shutting down the brain, nerves, and major nerve receptors in some tissues.
Please do not think that the substances sold at the "health food store" are either beneficial and ineffective or valid.
Many of the supplements sold there that are untested, unregulated, or even pure will do you a lot of harm.
Do you think you might be defective?
Take the test, do not guess and take the tablet.
For more than 30 minutes?
"Oh, you poor child.
It must be bad for you!
How did you endure such endless audio torture? ? ?
To be honest, the bell rings every once in a while in everyone's ears.
People who have a real medical condition will last for a long time, either uninterrupted, or have enough episodes, strong enough to disrupt the quality of life.
I have Meniere and one of the symptoms of it is tinnitus.
Fortunately, Meniere's treatment has already started, but what about before that?
It's too loud to keep me awake.
I will go through the period of partial deafness, then the period of excessive excitement, I will hear the rapid voice
Low Bell
Put the bell and thrumming.
It would be great to keep me awake at night or drown out the real voice.
The mild plot made me think I heard the phone ringing.
So don't be like a few of your 30-
The minute episode is the basis for medical advice.
Also, is the supplement excessive? Seriously?
Do you suggest someone else do this?
* Sigh * noise is the wisdom of the universe (vibration)
Channel through the brain, listen carefully, decipher the contents of the transmission, most of the time just to align you (energy)
To a specific location and time, purpose.
It is clear that you have never experienced this disease.
Your "input" either means trolling or you have a whole set of different issues to deal.
My cosmic wisdom tells me you're missing a few planets upstairs. . Great article.
My eyes looked at the link and thought there was a real pill or herb that could be cured.
When I started reading, I noticed that it was exactly what I learned to solve the problem. . .
Focus on ringtones.
When I was 19 years old, I crashed a hard snow boarding ship in a snowstorm.
At first, my right ear was ringing and the sound was loud.
About a year later, my left ear began to ring gently, and the sound was getting louder and louder as time went on.
From 21 to 22, the noise is almost unbearable, I will try to sleep for countless hours awake at night, but only loud ringtones.
I started flooding the bell with a fan at the bedside, which seemed to help.
However, over time, I found a love for the ringtones, which is a comfort to help me fall asleep at night.
It's not happening overnight, it takes years.
When I am having trouble falling asleep, I focus only on the ring tone of the right ear, as it is the biggest sound, slowly bringing both ears together;
Then I knew I was asleep.
I'm 29 now and don't mind ringing anymore.
If the noise or ringtone is new to you. . .
I wish you peace with it.
There is an herb that is good for treating tinnitus, but is illegal in the federal government, and there is also a Schedule 1 drug. . .
Called marijuana.
I am currently working on an investigation agreement to find treatment for this very harmful disease. Enjoy my post.

Interestingly, you said my ringtone started with the trial version 24/7 of staxyn (ed drug)
I wanted to celebrate my anniversary with my wife, and after that my right ear gave a faint hum, which has been going on for about seven months now over time.
However, on a recent trip to Colorado, a group of us decided to taste the now legitimate cannabis as a way to remember again the age of 70!
There were two things that shocked me, one was that marijuana was stronger these days, and the other was that the Hum disappeared for about six hours, and I slept like a baby that night!
Sure, the buzz came back when I woke up, but after breakfast I tried a bite of canabis and was surprised to find that the buzz was gone. . .
Obviously, it's not a cure because you can't walk around the stone all day, and in many states it's still illegal, but in legal places, drink a little before going to bed.
I heard the biggest buzz while sleeping.
My ear rang and started ringing about 3 weeks after the doctor changed my blood pressure medicine to amlodipine.
Has anyone else noticed a possible link between tinnitus and blood pressure medication? Not directly.
However, I know when my heart rate increases due to stress etc.
The Bell became more and more serious and sounded almost immediately.
I was wondering if your new prescription didn't raise your blood pressure a bit.
As a side note, even if it increases the heart rate, I notice that the ringtone decreases when I exercise.
This is a setback that people expect.
But it works for me.
I was diagnosed with tinnitus a long time before taking the pressure medicine.
BP drugs have no effect on tinnitus.
@ Rosemary pepper, one of the listed side effects of this particular blood pressure drug (almodipine)
This side effect was reported by your own FDA.
Yes, Mike. that's probably why.
Talk to your doctor with your concerns and hopefully he will give you a different medication.
I have had tinnitus in my right ear for more than 10 years.
What worries me most is that the situation will get worse. It hasn't.
I was also worried that it would enter my left ear. It hasn't.
My ENT assured me that my chances of putting it in the other ear are slim. I believe him.
I also think it will drive me crazy in the end. It hasn't.
While the noise is constant 24/7, I ignored it most of the time.
My wife had breast cancer while I was having tinnitus.
The situation is 1000 times worse.
Very interesting.
I never thought it was limited to one ear or another.
I have experienced both ears.
My ears are always blocked by allergies, but the noise seems to be coming from somewhere in the middle of the two ears.
The sound I hear is the classic ECG "flat line" sound. . .
Since I was 6 years old, I put "tubes" in my ears every day to deal with hearing loss. . .
I can hear it, not deaf, so I want to put up with the constant ringing of the bell at the price I can hear it. . .
Sometimes the sound is too loud and I have to ask people to speak loudly and hear their ringtones, which really bothers me.
This is mine. .
Like flat line!
I can't describe it until you say flat line. Thanks!
Because we are all energy, everything in the body can be fixed.

TimI has been ringing in my ears since I had thyroid surgery about 5 years ago.
When my ears get blocked because of a cold virus, the Bell seems to get worse.
This leads me to the idea that some tinnitus may be caused by a canal or a sore throat or inflammation.
Hi Debra, I have read this old article with your review, and I was just as impressed with you at the time.
I am in the morning.
I was stuck, and the tinnitus drove me crazy.
It started with an intermittent cold and did not really disappear.
How are you doing today, did you find a solution for this crazy despair?
Best regards, Alexander I have been eating for 20 years and it suddenly came out.
No loud music, no disease, no tumor.
At first I thought I was crazy and then I tried all the known treatments including oxygen chamber and ear needles, blood dilution infusion and steroids. Nothing helped.
I have learned to live, but sometimes I worry that it will get bigger.
Luckily I can sleep and I like to lie in my T-side.
I 've recently tried the tan vitamins and they seem to be a little helpful, but you have to take a lot of Tan vitamins for a long time, so I only take them once in a while now.
They are expensive, but overall they make me feel good (Viitamin B).
Every 3 or 4 years I go to the doctor in case I miss the chance to heal and make sure nothing is growing in my head?
But what helped me the most was a great doctor who told me that my tinnitus was a syndrome, not a disease.
With it, I can be 100 and I just have to learn to live with it instead of fighting it.
I agree with many people here and I don't like to focus on tinnitus.
It gets bigger if I think of it, but it "disappears" when I ignore it ".
Good luck to all my patients. . .
The name of this article is listed as "The Last Cure ". . .
The Cure will never be simple, the article says.
I want to hear Justice, No.
Fact article.
You're there.
Someone gets paid for it, there's nothing new in it.
There is no cure. period.
This is not due to the psychological damage caused by loud sounds such as drums, music, cars, hammers, trains, etc. , but due to the lack of ear protection.
It may also be due to medical problems or infections, but mine is a gun fire.
Sorry JOH, but you're on CNN and the fact story is not good at it.
But if you want political propaganda and a spin straight from the White House, you're in the right place.
I agree with some people that this is completely junk science.
I have eaten tinitus in the past ten years.
From white noise hiss to true tones (
Range from "f" to ""
From very soft to very loud.
This is not terrible.
It's just annoying.
The only thing that works for me (
Except drugs)
Listening to music.
Ignoring it is very helpful to me.
I think that is the essence of it, is to ignore it.
Thank you for your suggestion. Brock!
My husband has tinnitus and since there is already a lot of noise in his head, he prefers very little external noise.
He just started taking gabapentin for migraine.
An anti-seizure drug.
Neurologists say this may help with tinnitus.
He has a patient who takes gabapentin specifically for tinnitus.
In the first few days of taking the medicine, his tinnitus level dropped sharply.
Hopefully this will continue to help and the positive impact will not disappear when he is used to medication.
I'm going to plug a magnesium too!
Most people are defective, which can lead to many diseases (
Headache, depression, diabetes, heart disease . . . . . . ).
Reading book reviews on Amazon is the best place I 've found to know about it.
I heard the bell. . .
I have never heard of people being afraid of the noise they hear!
I don't understand.
But mine is not like the one in this article either.
I think my answer is to know if I heard anything. . .
It's like hearing. . .
I think that's my fear.
But I know I'm not. . .
I won't be afraid.
But everyone is different.
I found the bell. . .
This is not constant in any case. . .
Of course it's annoying, but I'm not afraid of it because I know what it is.
So what will you do for those who are not afraid of it?
Is this behavioral therapy helpful?
Can someone get the phone? Just did. It's busy. . . .
There's always someone who wants to fax me something!
My ears have been ringing for 4 years so far.
I remember when it started because it was just a few days before my daughter was born.
Mine is a constant sound like someone stuck the tuning fork, except that the sound will never end.
I 've done everything I can to make it stop and sometimes it drives me crazy.
Mentally it's like someone took a rolling pin and used it to crush my brain like a bread dough.
I 've been eating on and off since I can remember, but until 4 years ago it will disappear in a week or two.
The constant ringing makes it difficult to fall asleep at night. yes.
The best thing to do is have other noise in the room while sleeping and it sounds stupid, but it works.
Put in the DVD that you have seen hundreds of times, you fall asleep in a few minutes, have a working fan at low level, drink a glass of working wine before going to bed, take a small red pill, work with a valid wine, take a hot shower before going to bed, and some other effective things here and there, try to sleep with earplugs.
The sound of focusing on your own breathing can be very relaxed, louder than the bell, won't distract others, and won't force you to deal with inconsistent white noise like a TV.
Have you seen a doctor of the ear?
My ears have been ringing since I was 14 years old, and the sound is getting louder, and my son's hearing loss after birth. . .
It turns out that I have ear hardening, a genetic hearing loss associated with the birth of a child.
It seems to be one of the cousins, and I have a few cousins who own it!
So did my grandmother.
I had surgery to improve my hearing and although my hearing improved, the Bell did not disappear.
But it is worth it to be able to hear my son's sweet voice again, as well as the rain on the roof and the singing of the birds. . . .
After a cigarette, my situation will get worse.
Now that I have quit smoking, the sound of tinnitus has suppressed a lot.
My gun caught fire.
You have to learn not to listen to your ringtone and it sounds hard, but the brain does a good job.
Just like being with noisy kids, you only hear it when you think of noise.
I have tried hearing aids to hear the sound blocked by the Bell, but then I heard too much, which made me sad, so nothing is the best solution.
"I have a doctor who said to me that I should take cronoping (an anti-seizure/anti-
Anxiety drugs)
My tinnitus, "said Morrell.
"He said take one on the first day and two on the second day, up to 12 per day if I need.
Can you believe it?
"Why is there no comment in the Klonopin article (clonazepam)is a well-
Known to treat tinnitus, effective for some patients?
Where do I start?
I'm 54 years old and I can't remember the time without it.
In my case, I can only guess that this happened when I was 5 years old.
I ran on a mountain outside the school and hit a big kid directly.
I woke up in the hospital about an hour later.
Then I played hockey and my bell rang more than once.
This may have caused the problem.
The problem, though, was that I didn't really remember realizing it until I was in my 20 s, I was with my girlfriend.
"Did you hear that?
Do you know the big bugs? " She didn't.
"Really," I said.
"You can't hear anything?
Completely silent?
That's what you told me?
She said she heard nothing but tinnitus.
This is the first time I know it has a name.
It doesn't bother me because I have obviously adapted.
At a time like this, it was there when I was writing, but I was used to it.
I think I'm lucky.
I adapted, though not as conscious as this article suggests.
One thing I noticed was very pleasant when there was a legal bell in my ear-like when there was one or two non in your ear
Muggles have tinnitus.
My tinnitus is gone when I hear this ringtone!
Despite some faint ringing tones, the feeling of no tinnitus in that short time was heaven.
The authors also suggest that other noises such as water for exercise help balance the annoyance of tinnitus.
I 've always enjoyed watching and listening to the washing machine filling up and running. Hmmm. A connection?
I also had a few seconds to get rid of my tinnitus for 22 years when I had "non-
Tinnitus patient "ringtone in my ear.
Boy, do I cherish these seconds?
I think my tinnitus is caused by pain in my back and taking strong drugs.
I also have hearing loss that started earlier than this.
Maybe a combination.
I tried tinnitus retraining therapy with a special hearing aid, but it didn't seem to help.
I only wear normal AIDS now.
My voice is like a fax machine with a tone of 24/7 and a tone of up and down modulation is different.
I hate it. Bogus headline.
If you live together like most people posting, you will not find the title accurate, lovely or helpul. Just bogus.
I am 51 years old and have been a stage actor for about 20 years.
I have it in one ear and it keeps making an electric noise that often turns into a very clear sound like a tuning fork that lasts about 10 seconds, then disappear back to the quieter electric sound.
ENT doctor-brain MRI-strange experience-return to normal, and a round of miscellaneous diseases does not help it at all.
I asked people to tell me to reduce my caffeine intake, but even on days when I had no caffeine, the sound was still there.
I'm not even sure it's true.
It is accompanied by high-frequency hearing loss of the ear.
I can accept it.
For me, the high frequency loss is much more serious than the noise.
Unfortunately, for me, it all started with something called acoustic neuroma, a small and medium-sized tumor on the brain stem and the seventh nerve of the ear canal.
My tumor was observed for 6 months to 1 year and started to grow significantly, so in order to treat it I had a gamma knife operation that reduced the tumor from lemon size to pea size.
However, the operation made my right ear completely deaf but gave me tinnitus.
Treatment with vitamin B12 1500 mcg per day was very successful.
I hope this helps because you don't need a brain tumor to supplement B12, just symptoms of tinnitus. . . .
Good luck to all the fun people
My mother made a gamma knife on the acoustic neuroma and it also got smaller but never disappeared.
The hearing of that ear was completely lost, then cionentally, which was a long struggle with edema, and the doctors assured us that it had nothing to do with a neuroma or a gamma knife.
But several brain surgeries are needed to install and adjust the shunt to drain the fluid into her stomach.
She has passed away now, but she regrets choosing a gamma knife instead of a traditional procedure.
Acoustic Neuroma is not inherited, but I do worry when my tinitus appears.
Tinnitus is not caused by a major cause.
Each case is different, so successful treatment depends on the patient's medical history. That's no cure.
It's like saying that the cure for cancer is to learn to live with it.
I am not afraid of my tinnitus, which annoys me.
I agree with Diamond 14.
The article is neither accurate nor helpful.
I found this article interesting with the idea of seeing tinnitus as fear, an important part of the pain involved.
Fear keeps a person focused on the sound, which increases the level of stress, etc.
As I pointed out in the email
The book calms your tinnitus, "The more you fear it, the less you hear.
"Maybe just like other fears, how did you overcome the tinnitus in the end? Intriguing.
I hope some of you Patients read this and try to scroll.
I have a Canadian goose sound in my ear.
It starts with just a squeeze and gets bigger in a few weeks.
I noticed it was exactly the same rhythm as my heart beat.
I tried all kinds of things.
The voice drove me crazy.
It's like water punishment in China.
My husband can hear it too!
If he put his ear on my ear
Almost a year later, I went to a Rofer to help. he held his neck hard and fed the things in my mouth --
When he was doing it, I noticed that the voice changed!
Then we realized it was a problem with TMJ!
With 3 to 4 treatments it disappears. Forever. (so far 7years. )
There's a bell in my ear.
But compared to what I have, it is as good as silence.
Every time the bell rings, I think of everything I have, just happy. ROLFING.
This may help some of you.
I pray it can do it. Interesting.
I have a situation where TMJ happens a lot.
It wasn't until yesterday when I put my elbow on the table and my chin in my hand that I thought I had it --
The pressure on my chin is so painful
Let me see the stars!
I don't know I have a problem with TMJ as well.
I have had tinnitus for decades.
I would like to know if there is a connection between the two.
Does Luo Lin hurt?
I think this is someone taking your meat off your bones by manipulating what I hear. Sounds scary.
This has been the case since 1968. Vietnam.
The American government says it's all in my head.
Listen to the conks ad and tell me.
The only thing people can help with is a health supplement called gaba5.
I don't know if this reporter is ignorant or stupid, I found that there is no such thing in the title: Finally, the treatment of tinnnitus, it's like saying you have an ilness, just learn to live with it and you will be fine.
Come on, it would be helpful for people to respect people wearing tin foil hats.
I have had tinnitus since I was about 6 years old when an accident left my right deaf.
This is a continuous high-pitched ringtone.
If I lay on the "good" ear, I will hear it.
It only gets worse when the noise is too loud during the day.
This study only tells me to do what I have been doing.
Although I can't really imagine feeling scared or anxious about the noise.
I think this is because when I was so young, I adapted easily.
Well, this is disappointing reading.
My left ear kept ringing, and I also heard a heartbeat or pulse.
My ears are caused by Menier's disease, and as a result, my ears also have hearing loss.
Tinnitus is usually a symptom of hearing loss.
It gets better when I get the hearing aid, but not exactly-
Probably because my ears hear more than just the inside.
I think Meniere's disease was caused by a severe spring allergic reaction a year ago.
One day, when I woke up, my ears were completely blocked and all the sounds were like being pulled out of the water.
I always sleep on my right side and I infer that some liquid will flow into my ears and they tell me that the liquid destroyed Celia (sp? )-
Small hairs used in the inner ear to conduct sound waves.
At first, tinnitus really bothered me, and hearing loss caused me long-term depression.
Always check new treatments with your doctoryou never know.
15 years ago, I was told that hearing aids couldn't help.
I will only hear "amplified gibberish", but I studied it 3 years ago, in fact, the hearing aid helped a lot and I felt less isolated and rarely said "well ? "? " anymore!
I hear the bell all the time in my head, which of course is not in my ears. .
It's annoying, but I ignored it most of the time.
I'm not afraid, but I'm afraid I lost my hearing.
The audiologist told me that my hearing will gradually deteriorate.
Expecting a world with only hiss is a disturbing feeling.
I will eat this a lot.
I just feel like it's a bit "activated" and I'll hear a treble "eeeeeeee ".
I tend to ignore it and it disappears.
You're going to say it's a great new therapy and it's really scary.
This is just a study of the problems that have been around for years, and this is one of the possible therapies to manage this situation.
For all those who suffer, it is indeed insensitive.
I hope you are more thoughtful about how to express your article than giving false hope to anyone on any condition.
I don't know how many times I 've seen articles in magazines or on the Internet, indicating that there is a new treatment or treatment that can only be found to be the same as known.
My ears have been ringing for 32 years.
As a matter of fact, I am used to it and have to concentrate on listening now.
The only downside is not sure if it is my ear or the ear of the cicada!
In the last 5 years or so, my ears rang and occasionally I heard a needle randomly tapping the crystal glass. . .
I have learned to adapt to it anyway. . .
To some extent leads to the neglect of it.
Because it loses its meaning.
If there is no absolute medication, I will not take any medication for this. . .
I started taking Paxil for GAD about 11 years ago, and I also have ankoth dylitis.
I don't know if it will have an impact on tinitus. . . lol. . .
Strangely, when I finished the article, I noticed that the bell was ringing. . . mind over mind?
Things that let you go.
Peace DJSI worked in the US Navy as early as 1970.
I listen to high frequency radio signals for eight hours every Saturday day.
After six months, I began to feel strange and disconnected from reality.
The military doctor thought I was anxious and gave me a set-up.
The symptoms did not subside until they gave me a different job.
A few months later, when I flew back from overseas, I noticed that I felt dizzy after the flight.
The veterans hospital checked me out and told me not to worry about strange things and blew me away.
Ten years later, I took another plane and got dizzy when I got home. e. vertigo.
The situation persists, and at the end of the day after seeking treatment and not getting any relief, my ears start to keep ringing-and the sound is loud!
It's almost driving me crazy because I'm taking a dose of calming to help me sleep.
This has led to the deepening of depression.
Finally, after two months in the stress treatment program at the hospital, my doctor found out
Depresant called Doxipin to help me sleep and "removed" the bell from me a bit.
I'm getting off the set and your depression is relieved.
It happened thirty years ago.
I have never been quiet since then, but I have learned to live with it, even though I occasionally have a bad day and the bell is crushing me and I have to rest for a day or two.
I took a dose or two of dorsepine and the Bell disappeared in a day or two and I was able to work properly.
When I left active service four years ago, I stumbled upon my detached body and found that it showed 25 dec ibel hearing loss at high frequencies.
The hearing test I did in my 80 s also showed the same hearing loss, but the situation deteriorated. The Navy caused damage to my ears, which intensified over time, and I changed from feeling weird to dizziness and tinnitus.
I filed a claim with the VA, but they are working on it because the tinnitus didn't show up until a few years later.
I 've read a lot about tinnitus, and unfortunately, for the reason, tinnitus gets worse with age, especially if tinnitus is caused by some type of in-ear trauma, very noisy
Severe tinnitus can be an indirect threat to life because it can lead to deep depression.
I 've helped a lot of people who get it and let them know that it can survive, but it does take incredible effort and some medication to learn to deal with it.
Tinnitus is something that can't be taken lightly and jokingly.
This is true and does appear in the listening test.
In the frequency of ringing, your hearing will be greatly reduced, which may be different for each ear.
Most hearing experts who do hearing tests do not understand or empathize with tinnitus patients because they themselves have never had tinnitus, and so do most doctors.
I was lucky enough to find someone in my town who specializes in internal ear disease and he helped me get through it.
Unfortunately, he's retired.
If you have a serious case, then find a Conservative internal ear specialist who will understand what you are going through.
There is a relief in tinnitus, Mel.
It appears in the form of EFT.
Below I provide my research and results for you to review.

Thank you for reading my post.
The old Indian science of TimThe "mudra" may be effective in treating ear-related problems and working for me.
The word "Mudra" means gestures.
Holding the hand's fingers in certain poses can press the nerve ends that send signals/reflections to certain parts of the body, which helps balance this part/function of the body.
The "handprint" of the hearing-related question is to fold the middle finger and press the bottom of the thumb, then place the thumb on the top of the middle finger.
The remaining three fingers are still sticking out.
Ideally do it with both hands for 40 minutes.
It worked for me in less than a minute, and every time there was some strange noise in my ear it worked.
Can Google "Mudra for hearing" see a picture of this hand pose?
