Police said on Tuesday a Lowell man was arrested for following a Winchester woman, allegedly placing a GPS tracking device under her car and trying to break into her home
A month after Sean Tyman was arrested
According to a press release from Winchester police, the Winchester woman's complaint prompted a lengthy investigation and she told the authorities that a person was photographed with video footage of an attempt to enter her home.
"The same video shows the same person crawling under the victim's car," the press release said . ".
"After searching for the chassis of the vehicle, it was found that a GPS tracking device was installed on the frame.
According to authorities, the police analyzed the device and issued several subpoenas to identify a suspect.
The release said that Winchester and Lowell police, after obtaining a search warrant, searched the Ackton Street residence in Tyman on Tuesday and found evidence that led to his arrest.
Tyman is expected to be summoned in the warben District Court on Wednesday, and he will face charges of trying to break in and follow up.
